This Remington manufactured red, green and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and is in very good condition with light wear and a small piece of the colorful layer of paper missing from the bottom panel. The right end flap has an 11/16" split in the bottom hinge and the white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut. The bottom of the box may or may not be factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have tarnish present. Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 LR-1(a) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the half diamond thumb cut. This box uses nickel casings.
